After a lot of research and reading, our
dream is now reality and after the early
loss of our first newfie girl (Chimo) through
ill health our home is now shared by Chips
(Bosighey Belvidere at Staneberne) and her
two sons Joshua and Jacob (Staneberne Derwent
Bear and Staneberne Lord of the Lakes) from
her only litter with the very handsome Aarni
(Darbydale Jimmy Ruffin With Gezandos).
We owe so much to our dear Chips as she is
the foundation of our newfie family.
She still loves to play with any pups that
come along even though the legs give in from
time to time.
Thankyou Chips, we love you.
In 2007 we were very lucky to add Sox (Sheridel
Pagani at Staneberne) to our newfie family
from the lovely Del & Hedd Richards,
to whom we are very grateful for our perfect
little girl that we worship so much.
There is never a day goes by when Sox doesn't
make us laugh.
Thanks to our dear friends Steve and Geraldine
Anderson, we added Sundari, (Gezandos
Be Our Guest at Staneberne) to our family
in 2009. Sundari loves to go swimming
at St Bees when our friends Stewart and Amanda
visit and take her for us.
She is a clown and lives life to the full,
we love her very much
Earlier in 2008 Jacob successfully sired
two litters and is now a very proud dad.
He meets his son Arthur (Newgraden Knight
of Templar At Newfarrier) quite often, Arthur
is very much like his dad and we would like
to wish Arthur with Amanda & Stewart
every success in his show career and water
After much discussion and on completion of
all of their health checks, we mated
our handsome boy Jacob to our perfect
girl Sox in 2010. Sox gave us
a beautiful litter from which we have kept
2 girls (Dottie and Dash) and 1 boy (Tocca).
The three of them are growing into gorgeous
newfies and have only been lightly shown.
Also from this litter 2 girls have gone
to live in Essex, Evie with Stewart
and Amanda and Nellie with Karen and Sarah.
These two girls have taken to waterwork
extremely well and by all accounts are going
to be big stars. They both passed their
Section A Water Test at six months of age,
well done girls we are very proud of you
and wish you lots of luck for your future
We breed only when we want to increase our
own lines and will only use health screened
dogs and bitches. We love our boys
to be big, strong and striking dogs and our
girls to be smaller and very feminine and
this is what we strive to achieve in our
choice of mates.
In all of our breeding, whether it be with
the Newfoundlands or Cockers our main aim
is to produce happy, healthy and well adjusted
We occasionally have puppies available to
permanent loving homes.
